United Church of the Valley works diligently to meet the ever changing needs of the communities in which we live. We believe we are called to continue the work of our Jesus Christ in this world. There are many volunteer opportunities in our valley as seen below, the United Church of the Valley is also appreciative of the many people that volunteer to make our church a safe and comforting place.
Animal Friends of the Valleys
AFV is always in need of responsible volunteers! There are a number of ways in which you can help; some positions require your presence at the shelter, but many do not!
Murrieta United Methodist Food Pantry
Volunteers are needed to purchase food, pick up donated food, sort and stock shelves and freezers, and serve on Friday mornings. If you have the spiritual gifts of Helps or Hospitality you may find this a very rewarding opportunity.
Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley
The mission of Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley, in partnership with God, is to facilitate the dream of homeownership, as well as improve living conditions for those in the community.
